Duration
1 Day IPAF Operator training course for Self Propelled Boom 3b (typically 8.30am to 4.30pm). Please note that Scissor Lift 3a can also be done on the same day as Self Propelled Boom 3b. See our IPAF 3a & 3b course listed under Course List.

Location
olympic9-400This 1 day IPAF Self Propelled Boom 3b training course is available daily from any of our training centres: Belfast, Glasgow, Manchester, Newcastle, Banbury, London, Ashbourne, Limerick.

On-site training on your premises is also available anywhere in the UK and Ireland subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and a Self Propelled Boom is needed for the practical. A copy of the current 6 monthly Certificate of Thorough Examination for each Self Propelled Boom is required.

IPAF Self Propelled Boom 3b Certification
Successful delegates will receive an IPAF PAL Card valid for 5 years, an IPAF Certificate of Training, an IPAF safety guide and an IPAF log book. Photographs for the operator card are taken on site and included in the above price.

Trainee Requirements
Candidates for IPAF courses must be at least 16 years of age. They must be medically fit to operate machinery.

PPE Requirements
Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them (i.e. Helmet, Safety Boots, Hi-Viz Vest, Harness & Lanyard).

Course Objectives
To provide delegates with the essential knowledge required to operate self propelled telescopic booms, articulating booms or mobile booms efficiently and safely.
