What is the IPAF Harness course?

IPAF MEWP Harness training instructs a user in how to select, inspect and use a harness and associated equipment safety when using a MEWP.

Location
This half day Safety Harness training course is available daily from any of our training centres Manchester, London, Glasgow, Newcastle, Midlands / Banbury, Belfast, Dublin, Cork, Portlaoise, Limerick.

On-site training on your premises is also available anywhere in the UK and Ireland subject to minimum numbers. A suitable room would be required for on-site training for the theory section of the course, and Safety Harness and Lanyards are needed for the practical.

Safety Harness Training Certification
Successful delegates will receive an IPAF Certificate of Training valid for 5 years.

Trainee Requirements
Candidates for IPAF courses must be at least 16 years of age.

PPE Requirements
Trainees must have the appropriate Personal Protective Equipment with them i.e. Harness & Lanyard.

This IPAF Safety Harness training course is suitable for anyone who uses Safety Harness and associated equipment for use in MEWPs.

Course Objectives
To provide delegates with the essential knowledge required to carry out pre-use checks, and to use and store Safety Harnesses correctly when using an MEWP.

Presentation with slides, video, printed course material, demonstration, practical use.
